On April 3, 2023 the face-to-face stage of special training of 10 canine teams, namely from Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Odesa, Kyiv Customs and 2 canine teams of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (Department) started at the premises of the  Department.

The main purpose of the training is to improve and develop knowledge, skills and abilities of canine inspectors in the practical use of service dogs during the customs control procedure of detecting prohibited items and substances.

This was made possible thanks to financial support in the framework of the EU Support in Strengthening IBM in Ukraine – Resilience (“EU4IBM – Resilience”) project.

The Director of the Department focused the participants’ attention on discussing the main aspects of organization and implementation of special training, as well as wished them productive and effecient work during the 2-week training.
