Therefore little Ukrainians from Primary School No. 2 of the Khmelnytskyi City Council visited the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.
Dog inspectors of the institution told the children about the requirements for a dog inspector in the State Customs Service; breeds of dogs used by the State Customs Service; criteria for selecting service dogs for their suitability for training; stages of training of canine inspectors and service dogs of the State Customs Service; procedure for veterinary service, maintenance and feeding of service dogs of the State Customs Service; the procedure for using canine teams of the State Customs Service during customs control, in an interesting and constructive way.
The school pupils received many positive emotions and had the opportunity to feel themselves in the role of a dog handler.
Conducting such events contributes to the popularization of canine services of the State Customs Service among the younger generation.
