Acquaintance with the experience of Israel on organization and implementation of canine services

As part of the implementation of the 2022-2025 WCO RTC/RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine) action plan, on May 17, 2023, a meeting of the representatives of the WCO RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine) and the K9 Unit of the National Anti-Drug Unit of the Customs Directorate of the Israel Tax Authority was held in ZOOM-conference mode.

The event is organized to further expand international cooperation on issues of canine services, in particular, to discuss the approaches of both countries to:

– selection of canine inspectors, service dogs and their effective use during the customs control;

– canine teams training.
