On October 24-27, 2023, at the premises of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (Department), special training of operators for the analysis of X-ray images obtained using stationary cargo complex scanning systems was conducted for officials of the State Customs Service and Volyn, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Chernivtsi Customs.

In addition to the general topics of customs direction, the participants of the training worked out issues related to the nature of X-rays, radiation safety when working with radiation sources and the functions of using X-ray image interpretation tools of complex stationary-type scanning systems of the NUCTECH MB1215LC model.

Also, the specialists of the Department familiarized customs officers with the methods of concealing restricted or prohibited items, and the final stage of training was the mastery of practical work with scanning systems using a software product for interactive practical training of operators of scanning systems “Simfox”. Upon completion of the training, the participants who successfully passed the final test received the appropriate certificates.

Immediately after the successful competion of the final test, the wedding ceremony between Volodymyr Zhydachevskyi, the official of the Lviv Customs, and his wife Daryna, took place.

The newlyweds stood on a wedding towel in the beautiful city of Lviv.
