On the basis of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service, from 05.12.2023 to 06.12.2023, special training was conducted for officials of the units for combating smuggling and violations of customs rules and officials of customs posts of Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Odesa and Khmelnytskyi customs in full-time form.

During the event, the participants learned about the procedure for the use, maintenance and accounting of technical means of customs control and their classification. They gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills in working with different types of TСС, such as:

– Technical means of operational diagnostics of documents;

– Non-intrusive inspection systems for goods and vehicles (scanning systems);

– Technical means of identification;

– Search tools;

– Technical means for ensuring radiation safety.

During the practical training, the participants demonstrated the use of a wide range of technical means of customs control of the Department, which customs inspectors use in the performance of their duties. Upon completion of the training, all participants received the relevant certificates.
