Participation in the second stage of the firearms detection training course

From 8 to 16 June 2024, representatives of the Department for Special Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service took part in the second stage of the firearms detection training course organised by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) and held in Warsaw (Poland).

The training sessions were conducted by FRONTEX experts, including specialists from Austria and Romania.

This stage is aimed at theoretical mastering and practical development of skills of effective training and constructive interaction between the trainer and the trainees, which is the key to successful completion of the next stage of the firearms detection course.

We are grateful to FRONTEX and the Republic of Poland for the jointly organised training and for the opportunity to share experience at the international level with representatives of other Ukrainian state agencies (the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine).
