Pursuant to the Memorandum on the Development of Cooperation between the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the National Revenue Administration of the Republic of Poland, signed on May 9, 2024, in Vilnius, the first of four online events planned for this year took place at the end of September.
The first event was dedicated to organizing and conducting of trainings for representatives of customs and tax authorities of the National Revenue Administration in the Republic of Poland and the State Customs Service of Ukraine and contributed to the professional growth of participants and the expansion of their professional achievements.
The online event brought together heads, deputy heads of divisions directly involved in the educational process, and IT specialists from the Tax and Customs Academy of the National Revenue Administration of the Republic of Poland and the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.
The purpose of the online event was to exchange best practices on organizing training using electronic learning systems for newly employed employees and upgrading the qualifications of officials in the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the National Revenue Administration of the Republic of Poland.
Summing up the results of the online event, it can be stated that cooperation between the Ukrainian and Polish services is gaining momentum. Such events are an important step towards creating a common European space.
In their speeches, both heads of the institutions expressed a desire to continue cooperation and further expand the scope of cooperation by organizing similar events at joint checkpoints.
