On December 2023, the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (Department) completed the special training of canine teams of the State Customs Service. 

During the current year, the Department’s officials trained 89 canine teams of the State Customs Service, of which 70 canine teams improved their professional skills and 19 canine teams acquired the basic level of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for effective professional activities, the main purpose of which is to search for and detect prohibited items and substances.

This training was made possible thanks to the financial support of the “EU Support in Strengthening IBM in Ukraine – Resilience” (“EU4IBM – Resilience”) project.
