The 18th Global Meeting of Regional Structures of the World Customs Organization took place on February 20-21, 2023. The meeting was held in a hybrid format: some member countries participated in the meeting offline, others online using the Zoom platform with translation into English, French, Arabic, Spanish.
The agenda of the meeting outlined a number of issues for discussion, namely: WCO e-learning developments, draft WCO Distance Learning Strategy, training project on virtual reality, a new training material on staff well-being and stress management, WCO guidelines for developing national learning strategies, WCO tools and initiatives: recent developments, etc. Also, in accordance with the requests of the delegates of the 17th Global Meeting, interested regional entities were invited to share experiences and best practices with other delegates.
Representatives of the WCO RTC / RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine) were offered information on the resistance of the institution during the martial law. The international community responded to the achievements of the WCO RTC / RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine), and representatives of the WСO Secretariat were asked to share a practical case for the WСO Сompendium on staff well -being and stress management.
