With the participation of heads of departments (divisions) of technical means of customs control and as well as heads of exploitation and usage divisions of scanning systems of the Volyn, Transcarpathian, Lviv, Chernivtsi and Odesa customs offices An online video conference was held on June 19, 2023 to discuss issues related to monitoring the usage of complex cargo scanning systems by the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service  (Department)

The representatives of the Department conducted a general review of the state of affairs regarding their monitoring of the usage of complex cargo scanning systems and discussed with the participants of the meeting the issues that arose in the process of such monitoring from 2022 to the present, and which need to be resolved.

Customs officials, in the area of ​​which complex cargo scanning systems are used, provided information on the staffing of units operating scanning systems, needs for qualification selection and special training.

At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the issue of using a software module to display the processes of passing customs formalities in the case of using a scanning system and provided proposals for the project of Technical Requirements for the creation of such a module.
