On October 30, 2023 newly employed officials of the State Customs Service appointed to the civil service made a study visit to the checkpoint “Porubne – Vadul-Siret” of Chernivtsi Customs in order to gain practical experience in the framework of a special training course.

During the visit, the heads of the structural subdivisions of the checkpoint provided detailed information to the participants of the training on all stages of customs control and customs clearance of goods transported by both citizens and subjects of foreign economic activity, in particular: the procedure for carrying out preliminary documentary control and performing customs formalities; declaration and passage of goods subject to prohibitions and restrictions and peculiarities of the passage of humanitarian aid during martial law; use of the weighing complex; in-depth inspection box and scanning systems; features of the use of the “Electronic Queue” tool; the procedure for customs inspection of goods; entering information into ACCS ASMO inspector.

As a result of the study visit, officials appointed to the civil service for the first time gained practical experience to consolidate the theoretical knowledge they gained at the premises of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.
