‘Artificial intelligence and digitalization in the service of customs administrations’

Representatives of the State Customs Service took part in an international scientific and practical conference on the use of artificial intelligence in the tax and customs spheres. The conference was held on 14-15 May 2024 in Budapest, Hungary.

In accordance with the programme of the conference ‘Artificial Intelligence and Digitalisation in the Service of Tax and Customs Administrations and their Clients’, representatives of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine delivered a presentation on ‘The Use of Virtual Reality in Training’ on 15 May 2024.

The programme of the event consisted of thematic panels dedicated to such topical issues as digitalisation and artificial intelligence in the tax and customs areas, human resources management and organisational development (training), and academic research in the field of artificial intelligence. The event was attended by high-level representatives of tax and customs administrations, relevant international organisations and academia from more than 30 countries.

This international conference was a great opportunity for cooperation, exchange of experience and learning best practices in the field of artificial intelligence. The knowledge and experience gained will help to implement innovative solutions in the work of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
