On September 5, 2025, eight canine teams from the Volyn, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Chernivtsi Customs successfully completed specialized training. The course, titled “Special Course for Training Canine Teams of the Canine Services divisions (sectors) of the State Customs Service,” focused on enhancing the existing skills of canine inspectors.

The primary goal was to improve the practical use of service dogs at various search locations. This training is essential for conducting effective customs control and detecting prohibited and restricted items and substances.
