Educational Trip for Schoolchildren to the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services

Today, students from Starosyniava Lyceum after Oleksandr Romanenko took an insightful excursion to the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.

During the visit, high school students had a unique opportunity to learn more about the specifics of the State Customs Service’s work and its territorial bodies. Department officials shared information about the peculiarities of the customs officer profession.

The practical introduction to the work of cynological inspectors was especially captivating for the students – they not only had the chance to observe the skillful actions of service dogs but also to try their hand as dog handlers.

As part of the National Week of Barrier-Free Access, the students also participated in a discussion on “Interaction in Times of Stress.” During the discussion, students learned about effective ways to overcome psychological difficulties, the importance of mutual support, and constructive communication skills in stressful situations.
