To increase the general sensitivity, understanding and knowledge about gender equality of the (deputy) heads of Lviv, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Rivne and Volyn Customs, a seminar “Gender Mainstreaming in State Bodies” was held on October 10, 2023 with the financial support of the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine.

The joint event was held by the representatives of the EUAM Ukraine (Anne Maki-Rakola, Advisor on Gender Issues and Anastasia Korkh, Gender Expert-Interpreter) and the State Customs Service of Ukraine (Iryna Vasylieva, Advisor on gender issues, Deputy Head of the Working Group on the Implementation of Gender Policy of the State Customs Service (SCSU WG IGP) and Tetiana Korzhynska, Member of the SCSU WG IGP, Member of the WCO Virtual Working Group on Gender Equality and Diversity, Representative of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.
