Today, on 26 January, the Department for Specialised Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine  (Department) joined the celebration of the International Customs Day to mark the important contribution of customs officers to the development of global trade and the fight against smuggling.

This year’s WCO slogan for International Customs Day is “Customs Engaging Traditional and New Partners with Purpose”. The WCO Secretariat invites its members to go beyond the traditional focus on their activities and explore many new opportunities.

At the same time, we are pleased to congratulate Viacheslav Slavinskyi, Deputy Director of the Department – Head of the Specialised Training Division with his extremely important appointment to the World Customs Organisation as an expert trainer in the European Subregional Security Project Sirius.
