October 1st is the Day of Male and Female Defenders of Ukraine. This holiday is a legacy of the heroic traditions of our people, a testament to our strength of spirit and courage, our devotion to our homeland, and our pride in its military glory. On this day, we also celebrate the religious holiday of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, which is simultaneously national-patriotic and state. In today’s difficult circumstances for the Ukrainian people, we ask the Most Holy Virgin for Her protection over us. May the indestructible power of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos inspire us all in our present endeavors and future plans. We wish you unwavering will, a reliable family rear, strong health, inspiration in reviving the best national traditions, fruitful work for the benefit of the people, for the glory of our native Ukraine!
Dear Male and Female Defenders of Ukraine! You are worthy descendants of the Ukrainian Cossacks. You are true heroes and heroines to us! Your heroism and courage in the name of peace and the future of future generations are an example for us all. Thank you for everything you do for Ukraine! On the occasion of the Day of the Male and Female Defenders of Ukraine, employees of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service who are defending Ukraine have been awarded departmental awards of the State Customs Service for their personal achievements and their manifestation in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
