A representative of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine participated in a regular training event on firearms detection from July 6 to 11, 2025. The event was organized by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) and took place at the Police Training Centre in Legionowo, Republic of Poland.

The course was conducted for representatives of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the National Police of Ukraine, with the aim of enhancing their capabilities to detect firearms, ammunition, and explosives, as well as to perform procedures following their detection.

The training sessions were led by FRONTEX experts from Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Greece, and Ukraine, who had previously confirmed their expert level based on FRONTEX training results.
