On October 17, 2013, the seminar “Gender Mainstreaming in State Bodies” was held for the second time with the financial support of the European Union Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform Ukraine for the management staff of Chernivtsi, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Ivano-Frankivsk customs.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with: basic gender concepts; the essence of gender mainstreaming; a list of Ukraine’s national and international obligations regarding gender equality; as well as the developments of the State Customs Service on gender policy implementation.
