Psychological support in the conditions of martial law

From February 7 to Martch 2, 2023 the employees of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service are holding on-job classes withing the professional training on psychological support in the conditions of martial law system for employees of territorial bodies of the State Customs Service.160 employees of the 21 customs offices take part in the classes.

The goal is to preserve mental health and reduce the effects of stress factors on employees of the State Customs Service, as well as psychic self-regulation and self-help training.

Psychological first aid, stages of living in war, February 24 syndrome, resources and supports during war, etc. are being considerated during the training. Moreover, there is an opportunity to discuss experiences and emotions with peoplein the same conditions.

Conducting such classes is an important element of supporting workers and helping them to recover from the experience of war.
