According to the Procedure for performing customs formalities with the use of scanning systems, approved by the order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dated October 18, 2021 No. 552, the operator of the scanning system (SCS operator) can be a customs official who has passed the qualification selection of SCS operators.

On November 4, 2023- December 4, 2023 on the basis of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service, a qualification selection of officials from among the employees of Lviv Customs was conducted online.

The purpose of the qualification selection of SCS operators is to determine the best candidates for work as operators of scanning systems in order to ensure the process of X-ray image analysis is more efficient.

After the completion of the qualification selection, the level of professional and personal qualities of the participants was determined and the rating of the most suitable officials for work on scanning systems from among the employees of Lviv Customs was formed.
