On August 22, 2022 the face-to-face stage of special training of 12 officials of division (sectors) of canine support of customs on “Initial training of canine teams of divisions (sectors) of canine support of the State Customs Service” started at the premises of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (hereinafter − the Department).

Financial support for holding training of canine teams, namely from Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zakarpattya, Sumy and Chernivtsi customs was provided by the U.S. Embassy within the framework of the Program on Export Control and Security of the Border in Ukraine (EXBS).

During course opening ceremony, the Director of the Department Mrs Halyna Potashnikova thanked the EXBS Advisor Mr Matthew Boldinu, and the EXBS Coordinator Ms Olena Voronina for the assistance provided by.

The Director of the Department focused the participants’ attention on discussing the main aspects of organization and implementation of special training and wished to work  productively and effectively during the period of training.
