In Ukraine, the Day of Ukrainian Statehood is celebrated on July 28, for the first time!
Ukraine has a thousand-year tradition of statehood – Kyivan Rus, Principality of Galicia-Volhynia, Cossack State, Ukrainian People’s Republic. The history of Ukrainian statehood is actually the history of the national liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people for their state.
Since 2014, twenty three years after the declaration of independence, Ukrainians have again taken up arms to defend their freedom and territorial integrity of the state.
And from February 24, 2022, a new, larger stage of the war, which has been going on for centuries, began. And in this difficult time, we are all more cohesive and united than ever, and unity is the force that brings our Victory closer.
