Special training for operators of cargo (large) scanning systems, which was carried out from 19.10.2021 till 22.10.2021 on the basis of the Lviv customs, was completed by officials of the technical means of customs control units of the customs.

In addition to general customs topics, the training participants worked on the nature of X-rays, radiation safety in handling ionizing radiation sources and the functions of using X-ray interpretation tools of scanning systems of Rapiscan Eagle M4507 and Nuctech MB1215LC models.

Also, the specialists of the Department familiarized the customs officers with the methods of concealing restricted or prohibited items, and the final stage of training was the mastery of practical work with scanning systems using the appropriate software products.

All participants received the appropriate certificates.
