The official Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes to be marked yearly on February 20th,

Today, on 20 February, 2024 Ukraine commemorates the Remembrance Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, who became symbols of the resilience and sacrifice of the Ukrainian people on their path to freedom and dignity and changed the course of our country’s history at the cost of great human, civil and national courage, dedication, strength of spirit and resilience. This is a turning point in the history of Ukraine, the day when putin’s russia started an undeclared war against our country with the mass shooting of protesters in the centre of Kyiv and the invasion of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by special forces.

Nowadays, the heavenly army of Ukraine has not a hundred, but thousands of unbreakable, unconquerable, unforgettable knights of light.

The Department for Specialised Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service joins the commemoration of those who gave their lives for a free and fair Ukraine. May the memory of these Heroes always be in our hearts, and may their deeds encourage us to continue the struggle for justice, freedom and independence of our Ukrainian state.
