On October 22, 2021, representatives of the Department held an online meeting with organizations that train aviation security personnel.

The event was attended by Mrs. Tetiana Zahnii, the  Director of the ICAO European Regional Training Center of the ICAO Institute of the National Aviation University and representatives of the Training Center of LLC “MASTER-AVIA” of Kyiv International Airport (Mr. Andrii Tarasenko, Head, Mr. Oleksandr Bunchuk, Deputy Head – Head of the Aviation Security Personnel Training Division and Mr. Oleksandr Kirichenko, Senior Instructor of the Aviation Security Personnel Training Division).

The main purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation and consider the possibility of exchanging theoretical and practical experience in the field of training scanning system operators.

Stakeholders were presented the main aspects of training of scanning systems operators of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and training of operators of technical means of control for aviation security services.

At the end of the event, an agreement was reached on the preparation of a cooperation agreement for further interaction and development of the direction of using scanning systems (X-ray television introscopes).
