The leadership of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Service) has constantly paid great attention to еhe issues of accession to the Convention on the Common Transit Procedure, which is a priority of work of the State Customs Service of Ukraine for the years 2021-2022.

Thus, on December 17 a teleconference with the customs of the Service was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Serhii Demchenko, Director of the Department for Implementation of the International Transit System of the Service on the state of implementation of the provisions of the Law of Ukraine as of September 12, 2019 No 78-IX  “On the regime of joint transit and introduction of the National Electronic Transit System (NCTS)”, according to which the full application of the NCTS by customs offices is envisaged.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Department).

One of the issues for discussion was the confirmation of officials professional qualifications of enterprises responsible for customs issues, in particular in terms of cooperation with customs.

An algorithm for using software, which is posted on the website of our institution in the departmental network, was developed by the representative of the Department to avoid possible problems with the customs of the Service and business entities on testing for knowledge of customs legislation and determine the results of such testing with software.
