From 21 to 23 February, 2022, a working online meeting featuring a session on Gender Equality and Diversity was held jointly by the WCO Capacity Building Directorate (CBD) of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and customs administrations of WCO Members in a hybrid online and offline format on the KUDO platform. The event was attended by the officials of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service.
The meeting addressed a range of issues to discuss: business models for customs administrations of WCO Members, implementation of the WCO Organizational Development Package, building customs data ecosystems, assessment tools for WCO training and development activities, cooperation between customs: the role of local and regional pools of experts through Crises and Beyond.
During the meeting of the WCO Virtual Working Group on Gender Equality and Diversity of the CBD customs administrations of WCO Members (Jamaica, Liberia, Korea, Burkina Faso, Mexico City and Kenya) shared their experiences and best practices in the implementation of WCO tools on Gender Equality and Diversity with other delegates.
