From 10 to 11 May 2022 meetings of the heads of departments of operation (use) of scanning systems of Volyn, Zakarpattia, Lviv and Chernivtsi customs, were held by video–conference in order to discuss the issues of improving the use of complex scanning systems of stationary type model NUCTECH MB1215LC, chaired by Mrs.Galyna Potashnikova, Director of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (hereinafter – the Department).

The results of monitoring use of cargo scanning systems by customs in the first quarter of 2022 were discussed by the representatives of the Department and other participants of the meeting.

The main issues of use of freight scanning systems were reported by the customs officials in its area of activities of, where freight scanning systems are used, as well as suggestions  were provided for improvement.

Following the results of the meeting, it was decided to summarize the information received and send it to the relevant departments of the State Customs Service in order to improve the use of integrated scanning systems of stationary type model NUCTECH MB1215LC.
