The Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (Department) held a special training of officials of the anti-smuggling and violations of customs rules and customs posts of the Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zakarpattia and Odesa Customs from 7 – 8 October 2023. 

During the event, the trainees got acquainted with the procedure for using, providing and accounting technical means of customs control and its classification, as well as received theoretical knowledge and practical skills for working with various types of technical means of customs control, such as: technical means of operative diagnosis of documents; systems of non-intrusive care of goods and vehicles (scanning systems); technical means of identification; searching tools; technical means to ensure radiation safety.

During the practical training, the material and technical base of the Department was used, which includes a wide range of various equipment that customs inspectors use in the performance of their duties.

After completing the training, all participants received appropriate certificates.
