The eCommerce Week will take place from 25 to 29 April 2022, organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in collaboration with other partners, at which a special emphasis will be given to concrete and actionable solutions to pressing issues related to the digital transformation of our economies.
The officials of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service are participating in online sessions of the event.
All interested parties can join the event. For online participation in the eCommerce Week, registration must be submitted through the following platform only, accessible in this address https://unctad.org/eweek2022 and the confirmation email will be automatically sent to the participant’s email address.
Throughout the week, the ways to strengthen the ability of developing countries to continue engaging in and benefiting from e-commerce and the digital economy, as well as to build more resilient and inclusive societies in a dramatically different post-COVID-19 environment, including least developed countries, will be discussed.
The participants will be introduced to the 2022 edition under the theme “Data and Digitalization for Development”, which includes cross-border data flows and the crucial role they play in economic and social development.
The theme of the event covers key current trends in the global economy, that are on the background of growing cross-border supplies and accelerating customs formalities, have a direct impact on ensuring the fight against commercial fraud and infringements of intellectual property rights.
