On the premises of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service, with the support of the Department of Customs Risk Profiling, a specialized training on application of the risk management system (hereinafter – RMS) was conducted online from 7 to 8 June 2023.

The strategic prospects for the development of the RMS were presented, the practice of developing risk management measures was discussed, and the algorithm for performing customs formalities was reviewed step by step, with an emphasis on those legal norms that are most often not followed by officials of territorial bodies of the State Customs Service.

In turn, the participants of the training shared their own experience of identifying risky shipments and initiated consideration of the various approaches to problem-solving for practical situations or  those that require additional legislative regulation.

Such an event is held twice a year and is a platform for discussing key aspects of the application of SRM, in particular in terms of generation, execution and monitoring of customs formalities during customs control and customs clearance of goods moving across the customs border of Ukraine.
