On January 27, 2022 an online meeting with students of specialized higher education institutions was held by the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Department) together with HR Department to promote work in customs and explain the procedure for competitive selection.

More than 100 students, obtaining a master’s degree, of the University of Customs and Finance, the State Tax University, the West Ukrainian National University and the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics participated in the event.

Particular attention was paid by representatives of the State Customs Service of Ukraine to the benefits and prospects of work in the customs authorities of Ukrane and opportunities for professional growth for motivated employees.

The structure and content of the specialized training program on “Key components for the performance of customs affairs”, which provides an opportunity to get acquainted with key customs regulations (customs control, customs clearance, tariff and non-tariff regulation, combating violations of customs rules, etc.) were also presented for students.

The meeting was attended by employees of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, who themselves have recently been students.

They highlighted the importance of passing this program for the stage of procedure of competitive selection and as  well as further employment in the customs authorities of Ukraine.

Students and representatives of higher education institutions expressed gratitude to the Department for holding this meeting and confirmed their readiness to undergo a program of specialized training and further competitive selection.
