On July 11, 2023 , representatives of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service (WCO RTC/WCO RDTC) held an online meeting with their colleagues from one of the Regional Dog Training Centre of the Customs Services of Germany, at the premices of which the WCO RDTC (Neuendettelsau, Germany) is located.

Issues such as the staffing of services by canine teams and their effective use during customs control, the specifics of training in specializations in the search for prohibited items and substances, the organization of the functioning of regional canine centers were highlighted during the event.

Holding such an event is a landmark milestone in the expansion of international cooperation of the WCO RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine) within the framework of the implementation of the Strategic Plan of the WCO RTC and the WCO RDTC (Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine) for 2022-2025.
