On December 23, 2021 a teleconference was held under the chairman of Mr. Oleh Hoia, the acting Director of the Department of Customs Control and Design of the State Service, to organize the implementation of the order of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine as of October 18, 2021 No 552 “On the approval of the procedure for carrying out the relevant customs formalities using scanning systems.

 Lidership of customs, where scanning systems are used, reported on the effectiveness of different types of scanning systems. In her turn, Ms Halyna Potashnikova, the Director of the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services of the State Customs Service of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Department), got acquainted the participants with the results of training of operators for the X-ray images obtained using stationary, mobile and luggage / mail scanning systems. Issues that need to be resolved in order to properly implement the order were also noted. Issues that need to be resolved in order to properly implement the order were also noted.

Following the meeting, all participants were given the main tasks by the chairmen to ensure compliance with the provisions of the order, given the importance of an integrated approach to implementation of its rules.
