Today, 10 canine teams of Bukovynska, Halytska, Pivnichna, Transkarpathian, Volynska and Kyivska Сustoms of the State Customs Service of Ukraine have completed the full-time stage of the special training course on search for narcotics, psychotropic substances, tobacco products , weapons and ammunition. At the same time, the canine teams of Transkarpathian, Bukovynska and Pivnichna Customs were trained in additional (double) specialization.

 During the training, the specialists of the Department provided support and detailed analysis of practical skills in search work, worked out practical situations close to the real ones.

According to the results of the final control the canine teams of Bukovynska Customs (Igor Bodnar and with a service dog Linda), Transkarpathian Customs (Kirpa Andriy with a service dog  Sam, Vitaliy Frolov with a service dog Amigo-Ilya), have the mark “exelent” as well as the best practical part results (600 points out of 600 possible) Volynska Customs (Ganzha Igor with a service dog  Knut). The rest of the canine teams demonstrated practical and theoretical skills with general assessment of “good”.

To sumg up, the acting Director of the Department Mrs. Halyna Potashnikova congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the training, wished the dog handlers do not stop at the achieved and increase their professional knowledge daily.
